I think I remember our past e-mail discussions have been about how this is Ellen Swenson as a teenager. But I don't remember exactly - so I would really LOVE to see a discussion about it in the comments section.

Lon replies---> On 11/11/08 we commented extensively on this picture and on others (see the Karl Pearson archive). Wanda had thought it was Maggie Swenson, but the copy held by the Rasmussen family has that it is Ellen Swenson Pearson; and the Lorentz collection handed on down through Stella Pearson Peterson to Arnie Butterfield seems to prove that case. This picture was likely a later copy on paper from an earlier Swedish tintype. Two or three copies are circulating among family members.
